Sulphur is used in the preparation of explosives, paints, synthetic rayon and
fertilizers. It is also used by chemical and safety match industry. It is a
purifier of mineral oil and non-ferrous metals. Sulphur is mainly used for the
production of Sulphuric Acid which is an important industrial material.
Sulphur deposits are found in Chaghi, Kohi-Sultan, Kalat (Balochistan),
Karachi, Hyderabad (Sindh) and Peshawar and Chitral (KPK).
